Strategy meeting 2025

A week ago CapaCare's annual Strategy Meeting was held in Masanga. 🇸🇱
Day 1 consisted of interactive sessions where 43 CapaCare staff, board members and external stakeholders collected valuable input on our impact to date and potential for future activities via a SWOT analysis (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats). 📑🧠
The following questions were discussed focusing on CapaCare’s long term future:
1. What healthcare challenges to focus on.
2. What type of activities / cadres to focus on.
3. How to strengthen/incorporate/sustain our activities in national structures.
Day 2 of CapaCare's Strategy Meeting was used for internal discussions. Based on existing documents and input from Day 1 we discussed and shaped our strategic framework that will serve as the foundation of our ten-year strategy.📈📑
We also had fruitful discussions on each of the individual blocks in this framework (i.e.Training, Research, Organisational Development and System Strengthening).
Last but not least the various Chapters had an exchange about experiences with our current governance structure and input on areas of improvement was collected.
